S Power Technologies has invented and patented1 a set of power extraction electronics, based on the basic physics involved in the working of solar cells and solar panels. These technologies apply equally to all kinds of cells and the panels including monocrystalline, polycrystalline, thin film solar cells, and multi-junction cells. Use of these technologies will result in up to 10X more power delivered to various types of loads. The load types include batteries, motors of various types, resistive loads like light bulbs and heaters and inverters. This set of technologies include a completely new electronic circuit topology and new high frequency electromagnetic components. In addition to delivering much power to the various kinds of load, proper use of these technologies can also result in near complete elimination of shadow effect and broken cell effect without the use of by-pass diodes.
